"Our Home Candle Business"Healthy Home Scents, was founded by Ron & Donna King in February 2004 and is located in Abbottstown, South Central PA. Our two daughters, Brittany age 18 and Brandi age 14, are very involved and just as committed to the success of our family business. We make money retailing, fundraising and from the residual income generated by our home based candle business team.
The years have passed by very quickly and we have grown so much. Having never had a home based business before we weren't quite sure exactly where we wanted to start. We knew that we wanted to make money and have fun doing it. We joined the Candle of the Month Program knowing that if nothing else we would at least have a clean buring, strong scented candle to use for ourselves. We quickly discovered that all the tools and support that exists would make our goals become reality! There is NO DOUBT in our minds from everything we have experienced thus far that we are on our way to financial independence!
Getting back to our daughters, they are our "WHY" for starting this business. Again, time has passed us by quickly and our girls have become young ladies. Along with that realization came the fact that we would need additional income to be able to provide them with the college educations that we want so much for them. This is very important to us and we want to give them the chance to pursue their dreams, whatever they may be. So we thought what would be an easy way to make money without taking more time away from home and our daughters?
Working from home is another reason or "WHY" for establishing our home based candle business. We can be our own boss and run the business the way we want. We will still make money and take vacation or time off whenever we desire!
